Teddy Bear PlayGroup is embedded within The Early Years Foundation Stage framework through promoting a play-based approach. Play fosters children’s independence and self- esteem. Developing respect for others as well as offering opportunities for social interaction, supporting the child’s well being, healthy growth and development and a capacity for learn.
We aim to provide a safe, happy and nurturing environment where young children are able to flourish.
We value the role parents play as a child’s main educator and work in partnership with all parents to ensure the child’s needs are met to the highest standard possible.
Our emphasis on educating through play gives children a healthy appetite for learning with individual attention and stimulation from well-qualified staff. As well as an indoor play area we have a garden with artificial grass and canopy so all children can play outside in sunny or rainy days without it becoming muddy and slippery.
